Register as an independent user.
You have to be registered with one of the institutions listed in the selection menu to be able to sign in to our search portal. Please select your institution and you will be directed to its login site, where you need to sign in to your personal account. Alternatively, as registered user of German National Licences you can also select that option from the menu to log in.
A personal login to our search portal gives you access to the following services:
• Using licensed data sources:
You need to log in for access to data sources whose licence requires the attribution of the user to his or her home institution (e.g. Periodicals Index Online)
• Creating personal lists:
In addition to a temporary list of your favourites you can save your results permanently in personal lists after logging in to the portal.
Single records with FID or National Licence
Single records may offer full texts with restricted access under FID or National Licence. This requires a different kind of sign-in that has to be done separately for each record. Information if a full text is licensed by FID or National Licence is displayed at the respective record and you can log in or register by clicking the link.
